Pelargonium 'Cherry'

Was looking at Pelargonium register,there were handful of 'Cherry' named pelargoniums,,but this one looks like could be hybridized by May USA <1969 as description was-Soft cherry coral,narrow shaggy petals.Love it,flowers are big and looks really pretty,it is young plant,what started to flower late.And i'm happy,as autumn is kicking in and flowering is reducing in my 'Pelargonium Castle '

Stapelia variegata

I have 2 clones of Stapelia variegata,and today both of them were in flower,so i could make nice photo together.I know they are little stinkers,but what a beautiful stinkers they are 🙂

Chipping pelargoniuum seeds.

We all want to get 100% germination,especially if we have only couple seeds,or it is seeds from our own unique cross pollination. I never tried to chip pelargonium seeds before,so it was very interesting process for me.This post is addition to my youtube video about seed chipping
  So what do wee need to start it ?!
 Seeds of course,  scalpel(or whatever you can find,what can do sharp cut) ,cotton wool, boiled water, pencil, label,container where to put chipped seed and maybe magnification glass.
  So,if you have seed still in 'coat' with tail-look at my video,how i did chipped it and what i did after.
But if you have clean seed ,you must know which end to chip off,so there is some photos with with very close ups of seed.And i draw line which end and how much approx to chip off.And if you find right end,fallow to my video.

I love it,just look at them petals ,shape and colour,you would love it too.It's Swedish variety and I found bit info about it there,and using google translator you can read it too🙂

Pelargonium 'Drottningholm'

Lovely,lovely zonal pelargonium.I was looking for info on web,and found out it is Swedish variety,and pelargonium is named after Drottningholm Palace .
